Back in September of 2006, I shared my experience with Bocce ball. Well, as you have probably experienced, Labor Day is one of those Summer holiday’s that gather a fair amount of ‘older folks’. Because everybody is typically outside, you’re left with few options to keep entertained. They’re not all willing to go swimming (assuming a pool is available) nor are they all willing or capable of playing an intense sport. Conversation is great but even that is limited. You need simple, addictive, and classic sports and games to get everybody involved.
Bocce ball, horseshoes, and a new favorite… blongoball.

Not only is this an opportunity to get various generations involved in the same game, but you can create some great memories in the process. For myself this past weekend, it was all about the bocce ball and blongoball. Good times.
