For any of you following, or for those of you who watched Hillary Clinton’s speech at the Democratic Convention witnessed her support for Obama. Or was it support for herself?
As most FOXNews correspondents shared my thoughts, Hillary merely did her duty by asking Democrats to support Obama. But she provided very generic reasoning — which boiled down to their theme for today’s presentation, ‘No more of the same’. Get a democrat in office, regardless of who it is… and since it is Obama as presidential candidate, might as well support him. There was no reference to contradict her earlier statements towards Obama not being qualified to be President. No comments backing his qualifications or character. He is democratic … so vote for him.
Her speech was much more targeted towards herself and the impact she has made on the people of this country … specifically women. So that when the next election comes around, her chances of becoming President are far greater.
As the theory went, the better her speech, the better it is for McCain. Not only was her speech great, but it was great for herself and for McCain. Great for everybody… except Obama.
