Much like the earlier released ‘Step Brothers’, Pineapple Express is yet another R-rated comedy that brings slapstick / stupid humor to the table and does it well. Much more of a niche movie than Step Brothers, Pineapple Express is stuck somewhere between a stoner only flick and that of mainstream appeal. Meaning, my Mother or Grandma, or most any older female (or male), would probably enjoy Step Brothers more than Pineapple Express.
If you’re of younger generation (30-ish) an younger, I would highly suggest seeing Pineapple Express. If you’re a pothead… you may want to consider going while under the influence. Same goes for alcohol…
