1 Year and 8 Months Later… Hello

I think that the above headline is directed towards myself more than any of you who may be reading this. It’s been a long time since I wrote here. I’ve undergone many changes in my personal and professional life. It has definitely been a roller coaster experience to say the least.

My company has undergone several internal and external changes. Most all of which were positive and forward thinking. The biggest of the changes was the complete re-branding and redesign of our North American video game coverage from AdvancedMN.com to Kombo.com. (AMN Games evolved to Kombo.com). We now use the AMN as a parent/umbrella brand for the network in whole.

I’ve met somebody special and fallen in love only to not have it work out a year and a half later. She was my first ‘real’ relationship and somebody who has easily had a massive impact on my life. It was an amazing experience with endless amounts of both sweet and sour, acceptance and regret, depression, freedom, and loneliness. In terms of knowledge, experience, growth, and destruction; my failed relationship was easily one of the top three most intense periods of my life thus far. Something I am still dealing with, in different ways, to this day.

Ken and Barbie: 2006-2008

There is much to write about — too much to try and squeeze into a single ‘I’m back from the dead’ update. I’ll attempt to make regular, daily or bi-daily updates again. Writing has many advantages for me. And I have a lot to write about.
