He thought, ‘I’ve got to do it today. It’s been a productive one. Just a couple more things to accomplish.’

‘Let’s talk about our holiday plans. It’s time for me to start organizing,’ she thought.

He thought, ‘I’ll be done soon. You’ll still be around. We’ll get to talk.’

‘I’m leaving in half an hour. Work early today. Hope you’ll get done before I head out,’ she thought.

He thought, ‘I’m arriving to spend magnificent winter holidays with you. What else could you possibly want?’

‘Look at me. Tell me I’m very pretty today,’ she thought.

He thought, ‘I’ll see you tomorrow or the day after. Not the end of the world you’re leaving already.’

‘You’ll probably be out until late tomorrow, get home tired and be excited for bed. You got much more social and far busier with work than when we first met. Good thing time goes much faster this way,’ she thought.

He thought, ‘I talk to you more than to anyone else.’

‘Still miss you,’ she thought.

He said, ‘I love you.’

‘I love you,’ she said.

‘Can’t wait to give you a hug and a kiss,’ they thought.

‘Three weeks,’ the calendar showed.
